I thought it was just me. I had ALL of these same concerns. Plus, I can't get them to work, even when I have them on the device I hope they are on.
When I try to log into Google on my Android phone where I set up the Google passkey, when I use the option to use the passkey, I get "something went wrong." POS is what comes to mind.
There's also no mention as to what happens if someone steals your phone and can get it unlocked, or holds you while they hold the phone to your face so they don't need your passwords to get into all your accounts since they have no passwords. In summary, passwordless logins DO NOT make me feel more secure. For some reason, I feel less secure.

Password management is such a mess. I do wonder where it all ends up; looks like passwordless logins aren’t ready for showtime.
