How to have one Windows explorer window with the navigation pane opened and another one without the navigation pan. Also, how to have the preview pane icon in the menu and not hidden in a dropdown menu...

All what I can think of now. (:

Congrats for finishing the book!

Congrats on sending your book to the printer!! I think the topic is be most interested are the differences with Windows 10. I have not found a compelling reason to upgrade yet and this could help make the decision.

I’m planning to buy your book, but if I could get one of those signed copies that would be awesome!

Running it in the cloud would definitely be an interesting excerpt.

Well, since I have resigned myself to the next machine having 11 on it, a signed copy would definitely be of interest.

I updated my laptop to 11 and didn't notice anything different that isn't cosmetic. I'd love to put it on my older desk top but not sure what I have to do to make it work.

Ed,

thank you very much for including a watermarked PDF version

As a quadriplegic, hard copy is not an option. And other DRM alternatives inevitably result in a a document with an expiry date on which can't be read due to hardware, software, policy, or platform changes.

Anyone still got a copy of a book reliant on Google Books? Or would like to upgrade a laptop or tablet - but can't because DRM has locked particular ePubs to that particular hardware? Or doesn't feel the need to keep Amazon fully informed about personal details such as how many PCs you own just so you can read a book?

Appreciate the thought. Watermarked PDFs I can live with.

What would I like to read? Anything to do with voice recognition please.

Cheers,

Allan H

Love your books. I've been buying them, and using them as reference for years. I've recommended them to the people I work with, including clients. They are written in language even non-geeks can understand. Thank you!

Backup of HDD content to USB drives.

Bitlocker & password management.

Ed, keep up the good work. I bought the W10 book electronically and earlier ones in paper. Excellent reference books. 👍
