I deactivated about three weeks ago and no way am I going back. I am not important enough to be taken over and while not enough of my bubble migrated to Mastodon, I’m enjoying having some free time to do other things. Among others, reading substacks!

Ed, I joined Twitter when my employer established a Twitter presence several years ago. I never really used it much, but om recent months I started looking at animal videos. Just for fun. Since Musk bought it, I have seen a change in Twitter. Fewer animal videos and now, a lot of videos of violence. No thanks!

I’m still there but just barely. I am so sad that my mobile client of choice (Echofon) is gone. I still browse a bit from my desktop but maybe only once or twice a week.

I have stayed for 1 reason I have Liverpudlian friends on TW + friends like me interested in Evolution Genetics\Politics\Architecture History of Liverpool . They dont want to move to Mastodon

5 emails to TW for HELP as 2 why my Photos ( family Christmas ones) wont SEND but TEXT no prob yet have correct size + right Browser no help from them at all to solving my SEND photos. Never happened before been with TW 8years very frustrated Oh and lost followers who have told me they DO FOLLOW weird ! Another member of my family joined TW long time ago hasn't checked in since a bad accident maybe I should recommend Mastodon
