I use 1Password, but I also use the built-in password manager in iOS/iPadOS/macOS as well as in Microsoft Edge, the browser I use on the Mac. Yeah I know, it's a mess, and I did a whole column on the fact that I am doing it wrong.

Other - currently using KeePass, but mainly because work does. Debating BitWarden and word has it work may be changing, but I don’t recall to what.

On my iOS devices I use iCloud Keychain, and on my windows devices I use the one built into Edge, which in turn is saved into Microsoft Authenticator.

My Other is KeePassXC. I am trying 1Password, but the PC browser interface is very hard to use. Importing my 770 entries is a mess. Drag & Drop does not work. Delete key does not work. You can only select one entry at a time. Just deleting entries requires several clicks for each entry. It does autofill a bit better. I might end up using both?

Cecil, you need to install the 1Password app on your PC. Use the browser extension for filling in credentials on websites, but use the app to manage those credentials. It has the features you are looking for, including multi-select and support for the Delete key.

Thank you. That makes a big difference. I thought apps only worked on cell phones. Much better now.

I have been using LastPass but I have decided to switch to something else. I am thinking of 1Password, but I may give Bitwarden a try. As I haven't made up my mind yet, I am voting "Other". Thanks!

My main ecosystem is based on Apple products therefore I rely on their “iCloud Keychain” technology. When I use Windows 11 in a Parallels Desktop virtual machine, I don’t use a password manager but rely on my own strong password choice and record that password in an encrypted Apple Notes file.
